How to use a PDF Pattern

PDF patterns are easy and convenient to use.

  • What is a PDF Pattern?  Simply put, a PDF pattern is a computer file that you can print out at home.  Our patterns include all of the required pattern pieces, step-by-step full color photos and a supply list.
  • How do I get the pattern?  Once you check out, you can access your pattern by clicking on your “Dashboard” page.  You will be able to download the pattern you purchased.  You can print out the pattern right then, or you can save it to your computer for printing later.
  • What if I do something wrong and can not figure out how to download the pattern?  No worries – contact us via email at and let us know what happened.  We can email the pattern to you if needed.
  • Do I need any special programs on my computer to use a PDF pattern?  You will need to have Adobe Acrobat on your computer to open our patterns.  You can download it directly from their website.
  • But what if a pattern piece is too large for the page?  The pattern will come in a grid format.  You will tape the pages together to create the larger pattern pieces.
  • Do your patterns include seam allowances?  YES they do – all the math has been done for you!  You will be able to cut out your patterns just like they are printed without worrying about adding seam allowance.
  • Can I share a pattern once I purchase it?  Patterns are for your use.  They are not to be redistributed without written permission.
  • Am I able to get help if I have questions?  ABSOLUTELY!  Just send us an email to and we will help answer your questions.
  • What makes a PDF pattern so great?  * A PDF pattern is convenient – you can buy the pattern now and begin your project right away.  * A PDF pattern is easy to store and take up no physical space – you can keep the pattern saved on your computer as long as you need.  * A PDF pattern can be reprinted (if you bought an item that comes in multiple sizes) – no  more tracing!!
